Suspicious Circumstances
900 block of Edenbury Lane
Police responded to the above location on the report of a vehicle that had several bullet holes. The vehicle was located and there were no injuries.

AID-Drug Influence
3100 block of Gavota
Parolee Maurilio Solorio was under the influence of methamphetamine. He was out of control and hallucinating at his mother’s home. State parole requested assistance in making contact. Patrol Team 73 assisted. Taser and 40mm launcher were deployed. The suspect was arrested and transported to VMC without incident via ambulance.

Arrest of Parolee at Large
2200 block of Tomasina Court
District Tom and Adam officers arrested a 32 year-old male wanted for a parole violation. The suspect is on parole for robbery/carjacking. He was arrested without incident.

Coroner’s Case
1400 block of Willowtree Court
San Jose Police responded to the above location on the report of a possible unattended death. Fire and ambulance personnel declared the 83 year-old female deceased at the scene. The deceased female had a history of medical problems. The coroner was advised and provided a coroner’s release number.

Commercial Burglaries
2957 Union Avenue and 2711 Union Avenue
Within 15 minutes, two commercial burglaries occurred approximately two blocks apart. Both were window smashes and either property or money was taken. There were no known witnesses or suspects. The district supervisors responded.

1800 block of Harris Avenue
San Jose Police responded to the above location on the report of a male having difficulty breathing. The adult male was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The male had a history of medical problems

Attended Death
1700 block of Comstock Lane
An 81-year-old male with a significant medical history passed away in his home in the presence of family members. The death appeared to be of natural causes. The coroner released the body.

Death Investigation
3200 block of Meridian Avenue
A 48-year-old male was found deceased in his bed by a roommate. The cause of death is unknown. There were no signs of foul play.

Welfare Check
1800 block of Orange Grove Drive
Officers responded to a welfare check at the above location. Neighbors called concerned about a neighbor they had not seen in a couple of days, and he had not made them aware he was going away for the holidays. His cars were in the driveway, the lights were on in the residence and he has a history of heart problems. With no answer at the door, the officers forced entry. The occupant was not in the residence. The son was contacted. He is unaware of his father’s whereabouts but will call back if he has any further concerns about his father’s welfare. A board up crew was called to repair the front door

Elderly Death/Natural Causes
700 block of Ironwood Drive
The 73-year-old female victim was found deceased by her ex-husband, who lives in the apartment above her and had been taking care of her in recent weeks. She had been ill for approximately the last two weeks but refused to see a doctor. There are no signs of foul play.
